It's been a loooooooong time that I din't draw anything via photoshop with my wacom tablet since I started ValerieYan Creation's ( 1 year ). I've almost forgotten I'm used to be an Illustrator. haha. Somehow, this few weeks kinda miss my wacom and decided to re-draw something. BUT! due to my wacom is not with me now, so I just use my laptop touch pad to draw it. haha. Anyway, I will keep on update my new drawing start from today.

So not only handmade you can see from here :)

*What Is Needle Wool?*
Using a single, barbed special wool needle , wool fibers are tangled and compacted by repeatedly jabbing the needle into the fibers, forming three-dimensional felt sculptures bound only by one’s imagination. In contrast to traditional felt making methods that use water and friction, needle felting is also known as dry felting.

Sculptural Needle Felting is just the coolest thing! First of all the medium is wool... Let's thank the sheep for growing such amazing fiber. I really have a hard time describing the feeling of creating with wool. It must be the organic nature of it; its luster, its smell, its feel... it really is wondrous stuff. The quiet crunching sound that the barbed needle makes as it pokes in and out of the wool is quite soothing. But the greatest thing of all is the moment that lustrous pile of fluff transforms into a character full of charisma and charm.

Hi everyone! It's Been awhile that I never update this blog.

cause I'm currently preparing pipit wonderful market 5 items to sell.

Here is some of the new creations that I've made within this 2-3weeks.

and all of them I'm going bring them to Pipit 5

This batch ring I changed to more detailed and fine. and of course the ring is more complicated and take even more time. It's roughly 2-3hours for 1 ring.

But the outcome is really adorable :)

THE GOODS

*What Is Needle Wool?*
Using a single, barbed special wool needle , wool fibers are tangled and compacted by repeatedly jabbing the needle into the fibers, forming three-dimensional felt sculptures bound only by one’s imagination. In contrast to traditional felt making methods that use water and friction, needle felting is also known as dry felting.

Sculptural Needle Felting is just the coolest thing! First of all the medium is wool... Let's thank the sheep for growing such amazing fiber. I really have a hard time describing the feeling of creating with wool. It must be the organic nature of it; its luster, its smell, its feel... it really is wondrous stuff. The quiet crunching sound that the barbed needle makes as it pokes in and out of the wool is quite soothing. But the greatest thing of all is the moment that lustrous pile of fluff transforms into a character full of charisma and charm.

Falted Wool

Currently I'm trying something new that's call
Falted wool from Japan . I might going to Import some of the wools
selling here, It's fun and no need mix color this n that.
the only thing u need is falted wool special needle and a special base for
this wool :D
There's no need to Sew and you can get a teddy/flower/animal/fruit n etc
easily.
Sound Interesting right? It's quite new for Malaysia I can say.
